The Mission

Our mission is to provide the tools, support, and guidance that foster independence, confidence, and success. Our goal is to empower students with disabilities and their families to navigate the journey from education to meaningful careers. At Careeracuse, we believe that every individual has unique talents and potential. 

Pre-Employment Transition Services

Self-Advocacy:

The ability to speak up for yourself, ask for what you need and make decisions that affect your life.

Job Exploration:

Discover various career options.

Work Readiness:

Learn the skills needed for a successful career. 

Work-Based Learning:

Gain hands-on experience in real-world settings.

Post-Secondary Counseling:

Obtain guidance on further education and career choices.

Who Can Attend?

Eligibility: Students must be 14 to 21 years of age with a disability.

Must reside in the following counties: Onondaga, Oneida, Cayuga, Cortland, Jefferson, and Madison.

(Services are free, pending student eligibility)
